The ATS checker, criteria checker, keyword extractor, STAR checker, APS pitch checker and bullet rewriter do not save what you paste. Your text is sent to our AI provider to produce your result and is not stored by us afterwards. It is never sold, never shared with employers, and never used to train AI, by us or by our AI providers, who are contractually barred from doing so.

Your account

Creating an account stores your CV text, the job applications you add, your generated rewrites, cover letters and interview sessions, so you can come back to them without starting over. This is the trade you are making by signing up: your work is kept, so it is useful, and it is never sold or shared with employers, and never used to train AI, by us or by our AI providers.

Deleting an application or a resume from your account removes that record. Deleting your account (see below) removes everything.

Voice interview practice

When you record a spoken answer, the audio is sent to our transcription provider to convert it to text, then scored the same way a typed answer is. CVelo does not keep the audio recording itself; what is saved to your account is the text transcript and the feedback generated from it, the same as if you had typed the answer.

Company research

Generating a company report sends the company name and the job title, not your CV or the job ad text, to our search provider as search queries. The pages that search returns are what the report is built from and what is listed as sources under it.

Payment

Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe. When you upgrade, you are taken to Stripe's own checkout page to enter your card details there, not on a CVelo page. CVelo never sees or stores your card number; Stripe tells us only that you are subscribed and which plan.

Deleting your account

Account deletion is self-service from your account settings and is immediate and irreversible: it removes your profile, resumes, job applications, interview sessions and answers, company reports and subscription record. There is deliberately no separate list of things kept back.
