When to choose Jobscan
Choose Jobscan if match rate scoring is the whole job you want done and you want the most established tool for it, or if LinkedIn profile optimisation matters to you, which CVelo does not do at all. Jobscan has been refining that one thing for years and it shows.

Is CVelo's score the same as Jobscan's match rate?+
They measure a similar thing and neither is a hiring prediction. CVelo calls it a role match score rather than an ATS score, because no applicant tracking system publishes a universal pass mark and it would be misleading to imply one exists.
Why is Jobscan so much more expensive?+
It is priced for the US market in USD. On 25 August 2026 the monthly plan was US$49.95, which is about A$75 depending on the exchange rate. CVelo is A$19 and the amount does not move with the dollar.
Does Jobscan work for Australian jobs?+
Its keyword matching works on any job ad, including SEEK ads. What it does not do is Australian selection criteria, Australian credential conventions, or the AU specific document structures that government and health employers expect.
